Banehuset in Sommersted is a cultural centre and music venue housed in the old railway station, sitting just a few metres from the rail line connecting Denmark and Germany. It is run entirely by volunteers and puts on a varied programme of rhythm-based music, from full concerts to intimate gigs. The building also holds rehearsal rooms for the local music school and creative workshops.
