KVIK Hockey Arena in Herning is the home rink of Herning Blue Fox, who compete in the Metal Ligaen, Denmark's top ice hockey league. The complex was built in 1987 and holds around 4,120 spectators in the main arena, with a separate training rink seating 200. Ahead of the 2018 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship it was fully rebuilt at a cost of 61 million DKK, serving as the practice arena during the tournament. The venue also hosts public skating sessions.
