About the venue

Marmorkirken - formally Frederiks Kirke - is one of Copenhagen's most recognizable landmarks, with a vast dome modelled on St Peter's Basilica in Rome. Construction began in 1749, but the church stood unfinished for more than 150 years before finally opening in 1894. It hosts regular services and concerts, and the dome is open to visitors for panoramic views across the city.
