Krabasken is an amateur theatre association in Slagelse, founded in 1972. Today it ranks among Denmark's largest and most productive amateur theatres, with around 200 members and 3-4 productions per season. The association performs in its own theatre hall, made available by Slagelse Municipality. It is run entirely by volunteers, who work both on stage and behind the scenes on costumes, sets and props.
