Liselund Højskole near Slagelse is the only folk high school for seniors on Zealand, with roots going back to 1909. It offers week-long and shorter courses in subjects such as singing, dance, philosophy, literature and movement, aimed primarily at the 60+ age group. The historic buildings and surrounding park set the scene, and communal singing is a regular part of life at the school. Capacity is 50 participants at a time.
