Kulturhuset Rejsestalden occupies a building from 1875 that was originally part of Jægerspris Hotel, converted into a cultural centre in 1995 and now run by Frederikssund Kommune together with volunteers. The programme spans concerts, lectures, art exhibitions and children's activities, and the venue also opens its doors to events organised by local groups. Regular fixtures include the Blå Nat culture night, Mormors Kagebord and the annual Christmas tree lighting.
