Mayhem is a volunteer-run venue for extreme and experimental music, founded in 2009 and located on the outer Nørrebro in the creative cluster around Bolsjefabrikken. Alongside concerts, it houses rehearsal rooms, music studios and artist workspaces. The programme centres on genres such as drone metal, punk and experimental sound art, and the venue operates as a non-profit with a strong DIY ethos.
