Nørregaards Teater is Odense's professional theatre for children and young people, founded in 1992 by Hans Nørregaard, Claus Reiche and Carsten Wittrock. The city-centre stage on Filosofgangen hosts productions for audiences aged 1 to 17, spanning dance theatre, music theatre, classical theatre and object theatre - including marionettes and life-size hand puppets. By number of performances, it ranks among the largest children's and youth theatres in Denmark, with over 400 home productions per season alongside extensive touring.
