The gallery on the second floor of Plantagehuset is home to Billedskolen i Thy, the visual arts school that forms part of KulturRummet in Thisted. The school teaches children and young people drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture, and the gallery is used to exhibit students' work - typically with a vernissage followed by a public show. The space can also be booked for art classes and creative workshops. Plantagehuset itself has served as a community centre for Thisted and the surrounding area since 1981.
