Plantagehuset is Thisted's community centre and part of KulturRummet, an umbrella that links the town's cultural institutions. The building hosts associations, institutions and private groups for meetings, courses, talks, workshops and concerts ranging from local to international acts. There are also rooms for musical practice and craft activities. The in-house café, Madværkstedet, opened in 2017 with a focus on sustainable, colourful cooking.
