About the venue

The Royal Danish Theatre's Playhouse sits on the Copenhagen waterfront at Kvæsthusbroen and opened in 2008. Designed by Lundgaard & Tranberg, the building is a landmark of contemporary Danish architecture. It houses three stages and stages spoken drama, from classic repertoire to new Danish writing.
