Tiny Church Tolvkanten is Denmark's first "tiny church", built in the Fishing Harbour of Nordhavn and inaugurated in June 2025 to a design by Julius Nielsen OFFICE. The 75 m² twelve-sided timber structure takes its name from the Danish word for a dodecagon, with each of the twelve facets symbolising one of Christ's apostles. An oculus skylight draws daylight into the central hall, which seats around 40-50 people for services, talks, communal meals and other events. The building rests lightly on screw piles and is designed to be dismantled and relocated once Nordhavn eventually gets a larger, permanent church.
