Tommerup Bibliotek sits in Fyrtårn Tommerup - the town's combined culture and sports centre - in the south-eastern corner with a view of the surrounding forest. It was the first library in the AssensBibliotekerne network to be designed and fitted out specifically for self-service from the outset. Large curved windows bring the natural setting inside, and the furniture along the window wall is made in ash to make full use of daylight. The library lends books, audiobooks, films and games, and runs a regular programme of events for children and adults.
