About the venue

Universitetets Festsal is the grand ceremonial hall of the University of Copenhagen, housed in the main building on Frue Plads. It serves as the setting for graduations, doctoral promotions and official university events, and occasionally hosts concerts and lectures. The hall is decorated with monumental murals by the Danish painter Constantin Hansen.
