A celebration of Viborg Cathedral's 150 years featuring newly commissioned works by contemporary composers alongside reimagined pieces by former cathedral organists.
Viborg Domkirke is one of Denmark's oldest cathedrals, originally built in Romanesque granite in the 12th century. The current building was reconstructed in the 1870s after a fire and is known for its extensive frescoes by Joakim Skovgaard. Besides regular services, the cathedral hosts concerts - particularly organ music and choral works.
