Morten Ladehoff presents a jubilee concert at Viborg Domkirke on Tuesday, 8 September 2026 at 19:30. The concert marks 150 years since the cathedral's reconstruction following the 1870s fire. Ladehoff has commissioned three new works from composers Allan Gravgaard Madsen, Mette Nielsen, and Nicolai Worsaae - each 10-15 minutes long - where the artists have created original, contemporary approaches to church music inspired by the cathedral's history, decoration, and architecture. The programme is completed with classical works by earlier cathedral organists. Viborg Domkirke is one of Denmark's oldest churches, built in granite in Romanesque style in the 12th century, and features frescoes by Joakim Skovgaard. Admission costs 0-100 kr. This is one of two Danish dates for Ladehoff.
