Fiola

Fiola is a four-piece ensemble performing famous themes and soundtracks from film history - spanning different eras and composers. Violinist Mette Smidl leads the group, alongside Betty Magnussen (soprano saxophone), Thomas Davidsen (guitar), and Benita Haastrup (drums).

The repertoire ranges from The Godfather and The Lord of the Rings to Barndommens Gade. Throughout the concert, the audience is invited to guess: which film, which composer, which year - after each number.

The concert is designed as a shared experience where the musicians actively engage the audience.
