Glostrup Bio opened on 26 December 1947 and is a single-screen cinema owned by Glostrup Municipality, with around 256 seats. Since 2008 it has been run by the volunteer association Sofarækken, supported by a paid manager. Alongside its regular film programme it hosts SeniorBio, BabyBio and live transmissions of operas and musicals.
