Wild Wax Combo feat. Frede Norbrink

Wild Wax Combo is a rockabilly/rock'n'roll trio with over 20 years of experience and seven CD releases. The band is known for blending live music with humor and audience interaction - the show is constantly energetic, and spectators are drawn into the musical universe.

The band has performed at some of the world's largest rockabilly festivals and has toured Europe and the USA. They have appeared twice at "Viva Las Vegas Festivallen" (2000 and 2001), at "Shake the Shack Rockabilly Ball" in Seattle in 2003 - and as headliners there in 2004. In 2005 they were invited to "Rockin' 50's Fest" in Green Bay, USA, considered the world's largest rock'n'roll event.

Frede Norbrink was one of the pioneers from Amagerbro and played from 1961 in various local groups around Copenhagen and Christiania, before Frede Fup was formed. In many people's minds, his name was almost synonymous with Frede Fup, even though it represented the entire group. With his straightforward Copenhagen attitude, he became a humorous and charismatic folk rock singer - by many contemporaries compared to Kim Larsen from Gasolin', a comparison Frede himself rejected, and which also does justice to neither of them: both are each in their own way unique figures in Danish rock history.
