(5-6 years) Dansk Danseteater for Børn: Creatures of Butter

Dansk Danseteater for Børn invites children aged 5-6 to a three-session programme inspired by the performance CREATURES OF BUTTER, created by Marina Mascarell and Dansk Danseteater. The dates are 3 April 2027, 8 May 2027 and 19 June 2027, all from 10:00-11:00.

Each session is structured as an active universe where children both watch dance as an audience through samples from the performance and use their own bodies in creative movement games. The activities are facilitated by Dansk Danseteater's permanent dance educator and the company's professional dancers. No previous experience with dance or movement is necessary. At the end of each session, parents are invited into the studio to participate actively alongside their children.

The programme takes place at Takkelloftet, Operaen, Ekvipagemestervej 10, Copenhagen. The price is 225 kr. for all three sessions.

Parking: There is a car park under Operaen at 35 kr. per hour; bicycles can be left in front of the building. Operaen is accessible by several bus lines, including line 2A. Parents can wait in the foyer at Takkelloftet, where coffee is served, or in nearby cafés such as Heart Bageri and Operaen's new café in Operaparken.
