(7-9 years) Dansk Danseteater for Børn: Creatures of Butter

Dansk Danseteater for Børn invites children aged 7-9 to a three-session dance programme inspired by the performance CREATURES OF BUTTER, created by Marina Mascarell and Dansk Danseteater. No prior dance or movement experience is required.

Each session lasts one hour and combines dance as a spectator - with samples from the performance - and active participation through creative movement games from the performance's universe. The content varies from session to session. At the end of each session, parents are invited into the studio to participate actively alongside their children. The activities are facilitated by Dansk Danseteater's permanent dance educator and the company's professional dancers.

Price: 225 kr. for all three sessions. The venue is Takkelloftet, Operaen, Ekvipagemestervej 10, Copenhagen. There is a car park beneath the opera house (35 kr./hour), and bicycles can be parked in front of the building. Operaen is accessible by several bus lines, including 2A. While the children dance, parents can wait in the foyer at Takkelloftet, where coffee is served, or visit nearby cafés such as Heart Bageri or the opera house's new café in Operaparken.
