Description was written before the event

Journalist and former intelligence officer Niels Jensen discusses the major economic and social costs Denmark incurred when reunifying and taking over Southern Jutland from Prussia following the 1920 referendum.

About: Niels Jensen

Drawing on his background as a tactical intelligence officer and 35 years as a newspaper journalist, Niels Jensen brings Denmark's modern history to a broad audience. His lecture on Southern Jutland is rooted in his book "Hjælpen til Sønderjylland 1920-1940" and reveals the true price of reunification - billions in today's money and decades of infrastructure work.
