Fjord Day in Roskilde Harbour

MEET THE WILDLIFE OF ROSKILDE FJORD
Come to Fjord Day at Roskilde Harbour and Kællingehaven on 6/9 from 11-14.
Roskilde Oplevelseshavn and Fjordhave and DN Roskilde invite you to an event where you can catch fjord animals and learn about their lives and importance for the fjord.
You can borrow equipment to catch animals, and we are ready in Kællingehaven to help you identify them and tell you about them.
At Roskilde Oplevelseshavn and Fjordhave's exhibition building Tangloppen, volunteers from Fjordhaven will tell you about our cultivation of blue mussels and why mussels are so important for the fjord. We open a mussel, look inside it and tell you about its value as climate-friendly food. We serve mussel samples.
We also look at live crabs and explain why they are a problem higher up in the fjord.

Just show up. It is free for everyone to participate - and you do not need to register.
