On Thursday, September 24, Rockmuseet invites you to a conversation with Peter A.G. Nielsen on the occasion of GNAGS' 60th anniversary and this year's summer tour. The evening is hosted by musician, music researcher, and author Henrik Marstal, who wrote the book "GNAGS, Den Blå Hund". Drawing on selected highlights from the band's career, the conversation explores the stories, doubts, determination, and artistic curiosity that have kept GNAGS going through generations.

The conversation is accompanied by musical performances and visuals.

The ticket includes entry to Rockmuseet's exhibitions. The café is open all evening with drinks and snacks available. Wheelchair users and companions are welcome to contact Rockmuseet before the event to ensure the best conditions. Companions with a companion card participate free of charge.

About the venue: Rockmuseet

Rockmuseet is Denmark's national museum for pop, rock and youth culture, situated in the Musicon district of Roskilde on a former industrial site. It opened on 29 April 2016 in a striking 4,000 m² gold-clad building designed by architects COBE and MVRDV. The permanent exhibition traces Danish rock and pop history from the 1950s to the present through sound, images, artefacts and interactive installations. The museum also has a sound laboratory, café and shop, and regularly hosts events and temporary exhibitions.

Peter A.G. Nielsen is a Danish musician and songwriter, best known as the frontman of the Jutland rock band GNAGS, which he co-founded in 1964. The band has shaped Danish rock music for decades, blending rock, blues and folk influences, and Peter A.G. remains its driving force.
