Lærkelil // Nouveaux

Lærkelil and Nouveaux meet for a double concert at Walthers Musikcafé - two songwriters from Aarhus who already share the stage as musicians.

Lærkelil writes Danish-language pop songs with strong melodies and intimate lyrics. She has performed showcase concerts at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen and Studenterhus Aarhus, appeared at Aarhus Volume during Festugen, Way Up North and Vesterhavsrock, and been support for artists including Pauline and Dodo and The Dodos. Her first three singles were all played on DR P4, and in December she opens for Vincent Wood at Headquarters in Aarhus.

Nouveaux makes English-language indie pop songs with atmospheric production. The debut single Insomniac from 2021 was broadcast on DR P3 and P4, and in September 2025 the debut album life is scary as hell was released. Frederik from Nouveaux also plays guitar in Lærkelil's live band, which creates a natural connection between the two projects.
