lærkelil is the stage name of Lærke Bertelsen, a North Jutland-born singer-songwriter based in Aarhus who writes Danish-language pop with an 80s-influenced sound and candid lyrics. She first gained attention by winning the title Årets Nordjyske Navn at the Skråen Band Battle with her band Merula, before launching her solo project. Her debut single "Tag mig med" (2021) was produced by Peter Kjædegaard - known for his work with Lydmor, Nephew and The Minds of 99 - and received airplay on multiple DR P4 programmes within its first week of release.
lærkelil released the singles "Stroboskop" and "Amorinerne Brænder", both of which are available on Spotify and Apple Music.
The debut single "Tag mig med" was played on several P4 programs and ANR already in the first week after release.
