"Bøvl" is a Jutlandic word for struggle and hardship - the kind of challenge we cannot do without. In this lecture, Nils Villemoes argues that struggle is not merely a nuisance: it is precisely what keeps life from becoming meaningless and empty. We need something to fight with and fight for. The question is whether there is enough struggle for all of us.

The lecture is for anyone - whether you are a leader, employee, or simply curious about a sharp perspective on leadership. Duration: approximately 2 x 45 minutes excluding break.

About the venue: Pavillonen Grenaa

Kulturhuset Pavillonen is a cultural centre in Grenaa on Djursland, built in 1902 and expanded several times since. Its flexible halls seat more than 1,500 guests and host concerts, theatre, stand-up, lectures and conferences. From the late 1970s the venue built a strong music reputation - bands such as TV 2, Gnags and Lars HUG played here early in their careers. The building also houses a music school, an art school, amateur theatre groups and sports activities including handball and badminton.
