Morning Art: The Fall of Freedom - German Art from 1910-1945

Morning Art is a lecture series hosted by ARoS' education assistant Martin Bjerg Dahl, a student and bachelor's graduate in Aesthetics and Culture with a specialization in art history.

This session explores key works from the exhibition "The Fall of Freedom - German Art from 1910-1945", focusing on Expressionism, Neue Sachlichkeit, and other modern movements. The artworks often present brutal depictions of humanity in crisis, where the traumas of war, social inequality, and the loss of individual freedoms leave clear marks on the visual language.
