13:00-13:45: Sophia Kalkau: A story about the work Zygote and art as a potential transformative force
Before the unveiling of "Zygote", the work became the subject of heated media debate, including in the newspaper Politiken, where critic Mathias Kryger called the sculpture a piece of sex toy, "anal beads", and believed the work was "arrogant". Come and hear the artist's own interpretation of the work. Sophia Kalkau is a trained visual artist and holds a cand. phil. in art theory from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - drawing on "Zygote", she will speak about creating works for public space and art as a shared bank of memory and dreams.
13:45-14:00: Coffee break
14:00-14:45: Lecture continued / Q&A
14:45: Thank you for this year!
