Heavy Metal Tønder - Concert

Three heavy metal bands in one evening: Skalnastal (DK), Wasted (DK), and Celtic Front (DE). Doors open at 18:00, concert starts at 19:00.

Skalnastal is a heavy metal band from Tønder. In 2024 they released their debut EP, "Recognize Us", dedicated to Europe's ancient indigenous minorities and received positive reviews in the online metal magazine heavymetal.dk. In February 2025 came the album "Saga" with seven tracks about Nordic history and mythology - including the opening track "Beware", which draws on texts from the Icelandic sagas and melodic elements from traditional Icelandic songs. The band currently plays concerts in Denmark and northern Germany.

Wasted has roots in the early 1980s and debuted with the LP "Halloween… tno" in 1984. After a break from 1987 to 2013, the band was revived for the Metal Magic festival and has since released its third, fourth, and fifth albums and played at clubs, venues, and festivals across Denmark. The band consists of Jimi H Hansen (guitar), C. Jepsen (bass), Thomas Pede (guitar), J. Berglid (drums), and M. Sonne (vocals).

Celtic Front are three musicians from northern Germany who pay tribute to the Swiss band Celtic Frost - one of the most influential metal bands of the 1980s and 1990s, whose albums "Morbid Tales" and "To Mega Therion" left a deep mark on the genre. Celtic Front stays true to the original both musically and visually, with signature instruments and stage setup from Celtic Frost's early years.
