Christian Groes' lecture draws on the latest research in neurodiversity, interviews with neurodivergent individuals, and his own experiences as a father of a son with autism and ADHD.

He draws on fieldwork among the Sateré-Mawé people in the Amazon rainforest and explores why people with ADHD and autism are crucial to a society's survival and cohesion - and how the tribe naturally supports them because of their unique contributions.

There is a break during the lecture, and you are welcome to bring food. A sandwich from the Culture Café can be ordered for 52 kr. when purchasing your ticket.

The lecture takes place in the Culture House hall, Stemannsgade 2, Randers C. Questions can be directed to Martin Minka Jensen.
