Hjernehack - Good Brain Habits in a Digital Age
Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus · Free
It's 21:15, notifications are buzzing, and you just need to watch one more episode. The next morning you check social media first thing and promise yourself it will be different tonight. But it won't be.
The brain is fundamentally designed to keep us alive and ensure we reproduce. In a digital age, both confirmation and need can be met with a few clicks - and with each scroll and purchase, the brain wants more, making it increasingly difficult to put the screen down.
Doctor, brain researcher and neurotech expert Benjamin Svejgaard explains why the brain is so vulnerable to digital temptations and what you can concretely do to build better brain habits.
The event is part of Folkeuniversitetet's knowledge festival Hearts & Minds and takes place in the Rampen room at Hovedbiblioteket in Aarhus.
