Everyone gets a dance belt and moves to the drum rhythms with dance and song. Small stories from Africa are illustrated in different ways - we celebrate the earth, go on safari and play rhythm instruments and drums.

There is plenty of clapping, stomping and hopping, and you are welcome to shout a bit along the way.

About the venue: Islands Brygge Bibliotek

Islands Brygge Bibliotek on Njalsgade is a small public library that has occupied the same spot in the old part of the Islands Brygge neighbourhood since 1966. The single-room space houses both adult and children's sections, with shelves stocked with new titles. Beyond lending, the library runs reading clubs, author events, book cafés and regular children's activities such as storytelling and theatre. Self-service access is available every day 08:00-20:00; a health card is required outside staffed hours.
