Animation course for kids ages 11-14: 1 September – 1 December 2026, Børnekulturstedet Karens Minde, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 700 kr.

In this class, we work with both 2D animation and stop-motion. We build characters, design backgrounds and worlds, record voices, create sound effects, and compose music.

Along the way, we also explore the history of animation in film.

About the venue: Børnekulturstedet Karens Minde

Børnekulturstedet Karens Minde is a children's cultural centre for ages 0-16, situated in the Sydhavn district of Copenhagen. It runs regular courses in theatre, animation, visual arts, rhythmics and textile design, all taught by professional artists. The centre also puts on occasional performances, concerts and exhibitions, and offers tailored programmes for schools and daycare institutions. It shares the Karens Minde site with Karens Minde Kulturhus and Sydhavn Library.
