The Power Games of War: A Changing World Order

This lecture examines global security and the current world order, focusing on the USA, China, Russia, Ukraine, Iran, and Greenland - including strategy, hybrid warfare, and great power competition, and what it means for Europe and Denmark.

The speaker is Alexander With, a naval captain in the Royal Danish Navy and strategy instructor at the Defence Academy. He has a background in the Army and a master's degree in international security and international law. In addition to his work, he gives lectures and writes for Børsen and the news blog Logic of War, which analyzes modern warfare.

The lecture takes place in the Fakta section on the ground floor of Køge Library and is part of the "War and Peace" event, held on the occasion of the UN's International Day of Peace on September 21. On the same day, there is also an opportunity to attend the lecture "The Logic of Peace".
