Father's Playroom — Islands Brygge Bibliotek, Copenhagen

Free entry

Father's Playroom is open every Thursday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for babies and their fathers. It takes place in the Undergrunden room - down the corridor to the left of the toilets. Entry is free, and no registration is required; just show up.

Play mats and toys are available for free use. Note that Father's Playroom is closed on public holidays - the last date before Christmas is December 17, 2026.

For fire safety reasons, strollers and folding prams must be left outside the cultural centre.

About the venue: Islands Brygge Bibliotek

Islands Brygge Bibliotek on Njalsgade is a small public library that has occupied the same spot in the old part of the Islands Brygge neighbourhood since 1966. The single-room space houses both adult and children's sections, with shelves stocked with new titles. Beyond lending, the library runs reading clubs, author events, book cafés and regular children's activities such as storytelling and theatre. Self-service access is available every day 08:00-20:00; a health card is required outside staffed hours.
