Children's Classic: Storytelling and Live Drawing with Rasmus Klump (ages 3-8)
Hovedbiblioteket, Copenhagen · free entry
Rasmus Klump storytelling and live drawing: Tuesday 13 October 2026, 10:00–11:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Copenhagen. Admission is free.
Actor and voice dubber Lars Thiesgaard - the voice behind over 700 characters including Pumba, Grisling, and Scooby Doo - reads Rasmus Klump aloud with full commitment, giving each character its own voice and personality. As he tells the story, illustrator Sofie Lind Mesterton draws the scenes live. Sofie has worked as an illustrator, storyboarder, and animator since 2015 and is behind the series 'Mig & Mille', 'Kaptajn Skumskæg', and 'Bastian & Bomuldsmonsteret'.
The event takes place on Tuesday, October 13 on the 4th floor, Krystalgade 15, 1172 Copenhagen K. There are two performances: 10:00-10:30 and 11:00-11:30. The target audience is children aged 3-8 and their adults.
Admission is free but requires advance ticket reservation for both children and adults - find tickets on billetto.dk.
The event is part of the autumn holiday programme at the Main Library, marking the release of 21 new Rasmus Klump books. Throughout the autumn holidays, children can also go on a Rasmus Klump treasure hunt at the children's library LÆS. The event is part of the festival 'Theatre Magic in the Autumn Holidays' (week 42), supported by the Augustinus Foundation and Copenhagen's Performing Arts Committee.
