Crime Reading Circle - Solving Crimes Through Time
Magion Biblioteket, Grindsted · Free
How do you catch a murderer when fingerprints and DNA haven't been invented yet? This reading circle explores that question through four crime novels that follow police investigation methods across history - from witness statements and detective work to DNA profiles and digital evidence.
The reading circle meets four times in Oasen at Magion Library, all on Tuesdays 16:30-18:00: September 8, October 6, November 3, and December 8. A librarian leads each meeting. Registration covers all four meetings, with a deadline of Tuesday, August 18 - but if you can't attend one meeting, you're still welcome to join.
Participation is free, and the library provides the books. The first book can be picked up from Friday, August 14 during staffed opening hours; the others are distributed after each meeting. As a participant, you also receive a free ticket to a lecture by Frederik Strand, director of the Police Museum in Copenhagen, on Tuesday, January 19.
