Come and Sing! Mozart's Requiem

The project is open to all choir singers with choir experience - whether you know the work beforehand or want to learn it. Since the rehearsal period is short, you are expected to prepare your voice at home so rehearsals can focus on musical work. Registration is binding, and you commit to active participation and preparation.

Participation costs 225 kr. Students and singers under 25 participate free. The fee covers musician fees, instrument rental, sheet music rental, and other direct project costs. After registration you will receive an email with a link to a questionnaire about you as a choir singer.

Sheet music is provided as a PDF (public domain edition from IMSLP) for printing or tablet. It is also possible to borrow printed sheet music during the project for 15 kr. - added at registration. If you buy your own sheet music, it must be the Süssmayr version, as the different editions on the market are not compatible with each other. Sheet music can be purchased at noder.dk or as a digital download at baerenreiter.com. Sheet music and practice files are also available on the project's drive.

Rehearsals and concert take place at Skt. Lukas Church and are conducted by Nils Benedikt Meier:

Saturday 14.11., 14:00-18:00: Choir rehearsal - learning the work
Sunday 15.11., 14:00-18:00: Choir rehearsal
Saturday 21.11., 16:00-20:00: Rehearsal for all participants
Sunday 22.11., 14:00-16:00: Dress rehearsal
Sunday 22.11., 17:00-18:00: Concert (free entry)
