Author Meeting on the Future - Martha Flyvholm Tode and Alen Meskovic

Alen Meskovic's "The Most Beautiful Farewell" takes place in 2041, where all humans know their time of death - revealed at birth and registered in a central system. The idea is to remove the pain of sudden loss, but the question is what that knowledge costs.

In Martha Flyvholm Tode's "The Only One", Liva is 30 years old and a newly ordained priest. She receives help from a personified artificial intelligence, Elias, for her first sermon, but the dependency grows quickly - more than her social circle can accommodate. The novel revolves around community, faith, loneliness, and existence.
