Workshop: Sensitive Embroidery - THEM

Kris Jensen - journalist, bookseller, and embroiderer under the name Sensitive Embroidery (@Foelsomt_broderi on Instagram) - holds a workshop at Toftebjerg Them Library & Community Centre. The workshop takes place in the café.

No prior experience is necessary. Kris introduces embroidery and guides participants in embroidering texts freehand and finding a personal, poetic expression. Along the way, he shares stories about expressing emotions through needle and thread, and there is read-aloud time so you can immerse yourself in the handwork.

The ticket includes a material kit with embroidery frame, fabric, yarn, and needle, which you take home afterwards.

On September 4, 2026, Kris Jensen releases the book "Sensitive Embroidery" about his life with embroidery.
