Live Art Danmark: Class Exchange
Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus · Free
Two fifth-grade classes from Hasle School and Ellevangskolen have swapped lives for a day: visiting each other's schools and neighbourhoods, following each other's guides, and exploring what makes the other's everyday life unique. Now the two classes meet face-to-face for the first time.
The public presentation takes place at DOKK1, Storesal, where students share their experiences, show films, and discuss the questions and insights the exchange has given them. The meeting is staged as a reality show with curiosity, humour, and reflection.
The project explores Aarhus and understanding across neighbourhoods, social divides, and different life circumstances. Class Exchange is produced by Live Art Danmark as part of the Live Art for Children 2026 festival during Aarhus Festival Week. The concept is based on "Der Klassentausch" by Random People and Forschungstheater from Hamburg.
Free entry from age 6. Reservation recommended at info@liveart.dk.
