Description was written before the event

Welsh rock band Mclusky plays at Vega in Copenhagen. The band is known for intense live performances and an experimental approach to rock music.

About the venue: VEGA

VEGA is one of Denmark's largest music venues, housed in a listed 1956 building on Vesterbro designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, who also designed the Radiohuset. Originally called Folkets Hus, it reopened as a music centre in 1996 as part of Copenhagen's year as European Capital of Culture. The complex holds Store Vega (up to 1,500 standing), Lille Vega (up to 500 standing) and Ideal Bar, with around 350 concerts a year spanning rock, pop, hip-hop, jazz and electronic music.

About: Mclusky

Cardiff's noise-rock trio have been at it since 1996, pairing ferocious post-hardcore with Andy Falkous' dry, cutting humour. Cult albums from the early 2000s now sit alongside fresh material, and the band is as active as ever.
