Children's Theatre: The Bird, the Mouse and the Sausage
Børnekulturhus Ama´r, Copenhagen · 40 kr. · ≈ 5 €
Children's Theatre: The Bird, the Mouse and the Sausage is a theatre production for children aged 5-9 years (and their adults). Loosely based on a Brothers Grimm fairy tale, the story follows a bird, a mouse and a sausage living together - with potatoes, freshly baked buttermilk horns and kitchen utensils in the leading roles. Duration: 45 minutes.
The production is created by composer and musician Jón Hallur Stefansson, puppeteer and storyteller Ida Marie Tjalve, and director Rebekah Inglesant Wild. Both children and adults need a ticket, as you watch the performance together.
The performance takes place on a Saturday at Børnekulturhus Ama'r, which is open every Saturday. On the same day you can also visit the creative workshop, where artist Maren Grosen helps children make potato animals inspired by the performance - both before and after. Workshop tickets are purchased on the day at the children's culture house.
