Jazz and Knitting

Bassist, composer and knitting designer Albert Reinholdt Østergaard has been touring with his musical knitting story "Bær Dine Fejl" since 2022, and now he comes to the Café at Toftebjerg-Them Library & Community Centre.

He performs with the double bass Ælse, plays jazz and tells humorous stories - including about knitting in Cuban dance clubs. Along the way, he talks about the healing power of knitting, the similarities and differences between music and knitting, and what he calls improvisation knitting: weaving jazz's free spirit into his sweaters.

From 5 p.m., you can buy a tapas platter at the Café for 65 kr. - this must be ordered in advance as the food is tailored to the number of attendees. Table reservations are made via the form or by phone +45 87 22 19 80. A form booking is only confirmed when you have received written confirmation.

During the event, coffee, tea, soft drinks and wine are sold.
