A Night in Nature - Boserupgård Nature Center

Experience the forest during evening and night hours at this special overnight event in Boserup Forest. Normally camping outside designated shelters is not permitted, but special permission has been granted for this arrangement.

Schedule
1:00 PM: Arrival and tent setup, hammocks, etc.
3:00 PM: Welcome and introduction
3:15-5:15 PM: Owl Kingdom presentation - see several different species
5:00 PM: Communal bonfire and meal preparation
7:30 PM: Bat watching tour
Sunday morning: Return of borrowed equipment by 10:00 AM

Bring your own dinner to grill, cook in a pan, or roast over the fire - it will be prepared together over the bonfire. Boserupgård Nature Center provides firewood and loans campfire equipment: tripod, grill, pans, pots, and cutting knife. Rafters, tarps, and rope for bivouacs can also be borrowed. Bring your own tent or hammock. Remember to bring food, drinks, utensils, and insect repellent if desired. There is a kitchen available at the nature center for washing up, and toilet and water facilities are accessible throughout the event.

Parking is available at one of the Danish Nature Agency's public parking areas in Boserup Forest. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short leash throughout the stay.
