Meet Skive's Former Mayor Peder Chr. Kirkegaard

Peder Christian Kirkegaard has left his mark on Skive Municipality through nearly 40 years in local politics, including 12 years as mayor. At the end of 2025, he stepped away from political life.

On stage, journalist and author Joan Thora E. Laurberg interviews him about his journey from farmer in Hald to mayor, the events and people who shaped him, and what it means to lay down the mayoral chain after so many years.

The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear stories from a long life in local politics. Tickets cost 75 kr. and include coffee/tea and cake during the intermission.
