Animals' Day at Frilandsmuseet in Maribo
Animals' Day at Frilandsmuseet in Maribo offers activities for curious minds of all ages from 10:00 to 16:00.
Throughout the day (10:00-16:00) you can try skin and skull quizzes, nature bingo, "Pin the Tail on the Sheep", archery, face painting for children, horse races and a large animal-themed memory game. Stella Farver works with wool and plant dyes in the Garden House, and Jette is present with her owls.
From 10:00-10:40 you can watch police dogs at work. From 11:00-15:00 there is stone painting with favourite animals, hobby horse track and horse-drawn carriage rides. From 11:00-13:00 you meet Lykke from Falke Event Falster and the gyrfalcon Ayla.
From 13:00-14:30 there are herding dogs and sheep in action, and you can watch the sheep being sheared.
