As One Says

The way we speak Danish reflects who we are - as individuals and as a community. At the same time, it is a source of misunderstandings, prejudices, and criticism. The lecture "As One Says" addresses exactly that: standard Danish and dialects, ghetto Danish and old Danish, accent, profanity, slang, and everything in between.

The lecturer is cand.mag. and ph.d. Michael Ejstrup, author and linguist with over two decades of experience on stage and five books on language and rhetoric behind him. He regularly appears as a language expert in the media and participates in debates on linguistic and cultural issues.

The event takes place at Vordingborg Library in collaboration with Vordingborg Folk University.
