Bjerringbro Bibliotek has been serving the town since 1911 and is now housed in Gudenåhuset, a 1,700 m² combined library and cultural centre designed by Kjelgaard & Pedersen A/S and opened on 31 March 2000. Part of Viborg Bibliotekerne, the building contains the concert hall Viften, an exhibition space, the local history archive, and Café Gudenåhuset. The library runs cultural events for children and adults in partnership with local organisations such as Bjerringbro Folkeuniversitet, Bjerringbro Kunstforening and MusikViften.
